Peggy Ruth Biven and her husband, Jim make a great team in their family owned office.  Peggy manages the front office, makes appointments, and caters to patient’s needs while waiting on the Specialist.  She has lived in Johnstown, OH since 1969.  Peggy retired in 2008 from the State of Ohio after 35 years as an Operations Manager.  Enjoys her family & riding her motorcycle.

Jim Biven Jr. started Hearing Edge, LLC in December of 2008 along with his wife, Peggy Ruth Biven. Jim has been dispensing hearing aids as a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist since 1986. He has been a member of the International Hearing Aid Society since 1993, also a member of the Ohio Alliance of Hearing Aid Fitters. Jim started his apprenticeship in 1981 learning the hearing aid industry. In 1984 he began fitting hearing instruments. He is a life-long learner and attends many educational programs throughout the United States and other countries. He has successfully fit hundreds of people who suffer from hearing loss. Most of whom have been referred to him by a long list of satisfied hearing aid users. He has three sisters, five children & ten grandchildren. Jim was raised in Westerville, OH, but currently lives in Johnstown, OH. Jim's outside interests include camping & riding his motorcycle.

Jennifer Fain is the Front Office Assistant. She is a Medical Billing Specialist, makes appointments, services hearing aids if the Specialist is not available and caters to patient's needs while waiting on the Specialist. Jennifer and her husband have two wonderful children ages 2 and 4 years. She has lived in Johnstown, OH for 24 years.
